Slovak Garden is a nonprofit community in Winter Park, Florida, near Orlando. It grew out of earlier Slovak immigrant efforts and was founded in the mid-20th century.
Independent retirement cottages on our campus, offered at affordable rates for Slovak Americans who want to age among neighbors.
Slovak Day, shared meals, folk music and Sunday Mass — a calendar that keeps the language and the customs in use.
A small museum and library on site: costumes, books, photographs and artifacts brought from Slovakia and kept for the next generation.
